Katie & Ross | Louisville, KY

Thursday, July 14th, 2011

I was blessed to meet Katie over a year ago when she came into the studio to discuss her wedding. She had seen a wedding that I shot that was published in Sophisticated Living Weddings, and she told me I was going to be her photographer. As she and her mother described the wedding, I knew it was going to be awesome to photograph.

Shortly after, I met Ross during our engagement session in downtown Louisville. We all hit it off from the start. After seeing the way they looked at each other, giggled, and joked with one another, I knew this couple was going to have no trouble creating great photos.

Their ceremony was held at Hurstbourne Baptist Church, and the reception was at the historic Seelbach Hilton. One thing is for sure, this group knows how to have a great time. Best of luck to you to and I wish you many many awesome years together.

Crystal & James | Louisville, KY

Crystal and James, both Pharmacy school students, were one of the most fun and loving couples I have seen. What a great time it was to be apart of their wedding. Best of luck you two!

UK vs LSU

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

So I know I do a lot of weddings. However, there are other things in life. Basketball is one of them.

As many of you know, I was asked to be one of the photographers working with U of K Athletics. Besides going to the games, I get to photograph these guys at the home games. I jump at the chance to photograph anything, especially sports. So it is needless to say I love it. Here are a few from Saturday’s game against LSU. Wasn’t much of a game as UK won 82 to 44. However, it was cool to see 5 UK players score double digits. By the way, cuddos to the Cards for their comeback win over Marquette, 71-70. What a game.

Studio Shoot

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

Shooting outside has always been my favorite place, but I have to say that sometimes it is refreshing to shoot in the studio. Starting with a totally blank wall, and concentrating only on the subject. This is from a recent Senior session we did both in the studio and on location. It was a fun shoot. Sometimes, simple is best.
