Elizabeth & John | Louisville KY Wedding

Monday, July 26th, 2010

Elizabeth and John had an amazing wedding at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Louisville, KY. It was a pleasure that they chose Robert Burge Photography to document the day. The reception was at The Henry Clay. After getting ready at The Seelbach, they headed over to the church for a few photos and the wedding. Afterwards, they rode around town on a trolley and showed the out of town friends the city. A few hours later they met up with everyone for the reception and had dinner with a few hundred of their closest friends. It was a great day with great people. Thanks you all.

Tamra and Pedro tied the knot at the beautiful Garden Court facility, in Louisville, KY. It has been a favorite of mine for years. The gardens and old building offer a lot of possibilities for wedding photography. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your day. It was an awesome time. I’m glad the rain held off!

While at church one day I ran into an old friend I had not seen in years. She told me that her sister, who I was also friends with back in the day when tight rolling your pants and wearing Drakkar was cool, was going to be visiting and asked if I would mind photographing the kiddo’s. Of course I wanted to. I had not seen them in years. Nothing formal. Just a fun time playing in the park. Take a look.

And to the parents… Thanks. I had a great time catching up.

Jessica & Scott • Louisville, KY

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

About 5 years ago I was contacted by my good friend Marcie Hancock, wedding planner who owns A Thorough Fare, to photograph a wedding for the Morgan family. At that time their daughter was getting married. We had such a great time and formed a great relationship. So 5 years later I was asked to be the wedding photographer for the Morgan’s Son, Scott, to his beautiful bride Jessica.

The two were married at the Seelbach Hotel. The wedding took place in the Grand Ballroom. Great Job Marcie with the design. Best of luck you two! I know you don’t need it. You all are going to have a great life.

Maria & Michael • Lexington, Kentucky

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

Maria and Michael started dating more than half a decade ago when they met in an architecture class at the University of Kentucky. They have since moved away for their jobs, but came back to Lexington to be married. During portraits on the town, we even stopped by the room they met in and did a few shots. I had the best time working with you all. You guys are truly a blast. The best of luck, and thanks for allowing me to be a part of the day.
